Not yet — Safe Call Up is currently in development. We're working closely with Australian experts, advocates, and tech teams to ensure it’s safe, secure, and ready for real-world use.
Yes. The core version of Safe Call Up will always be free to download. Ongoing funding from sponsors and grants helps us keep it accessible for everyone who needs it.
Safe Call Up is designed for people experiencing domestic or family violence, as well as friends, family, and support services who want to help. It's especially focused on serving First Nations communities and those in regional and remote areas.
The app will include localised access to support across Australia, including 1800RESPECT, Legal Aid, and nearby shelters like women’s refuges in NSW, Victoria, and beyond.
To protect users, the app is hidden behind a decoy (like a weather or news app) and unlocked with a private code. This means it can’t be easily discovered by someone monitoring the phone.
Yes — we’d love to hear from you. Survivors, supporters, professionals, and partners are all encouraged to get in touch via the enquiry form.
