Want to Help Us Launch a Life-Changing App?

We’re seeking bold partners to help bring Safe Call Up to life.

Safe Call Up is a new safety app designed to support people facing domestic or family violence. Right now, it’s still in development — and this is your chance to shape what it becomes.

Whether you’re part of an organisation or acting as an individual, we’re looking for people who want to contribute their time, knowledge, funding, or support to help get this into the hands of those who need it most.

Who Should Get in Touch

We’re looking to connect with:

  • Supporters & volunteers — Whether you’re an individual with time, skills, or just a strong belief in this project, your support matters.

  • Potential sponsors — If you can help fund or promote this work, we’d love to connect and discuss partnership options.

  • Service providers — If you work in domestic violence, health, legal, or social support, your insight can help shape and deliver the app.

  • Lived experience advocates — If you’ve personally faced DFV or supported someone who has, your perspective is incredibly valuable.

  • Community leaders — We welcome input from First Nations, CALD, LGBTQIA+, and disability advocates to help embed cultural safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the app available yet?

Not yet — Safe Call Up is currently in development. We're working closely with Australian experts, advocates, and tech teams to ensure it’s safe, secure, and ready for real-world use.

Will the app be free?

Yes. The core version of Safe Call Up will always be free to download. Ongoing funding from sponsors and grants helps us keep it accessible for everyone who needs it.

Who is the app for?

Safe Call Up is designed for people experiencing domestic or family violence, as well as friends, family, and support services who want to help. It's especially focused on serving First Nations communities and those in regional and remote areas.

What support services are included?

The app will include localised access to support across Australia, including 1800RESPECT, Legal Aid, and nearby shelters like women’s refuges in NSW, Victoria, and beyond.

FAQ image

How does the disguised interface work?

To protect users, the app is hidden behind a decoy (like a weather or news app) and unlocked with a private code. This means it can’t be easily discovered by someone monitoring the phone.

Can I suggest a feature or get involved in development?

Yes — we’d love to hear from you. Survivors, supporters, professionals, and partners are all encouraged to get in touch via the enquiry form.
